Pinecrest Energy Inc. is a Calgary–based junior oil and gas exploration company with a proven management team committed to exploring and developing cost effective growth of light oil reserves.

The management team is comprised primarily of individuals who led the successful Peerless Energy Inc. The management team believes their previous experience in expanding and defining the Bakken resource play in southeast Saskatchewan through horizontal well drilling and multi-stage completions will be invaluable and transferrable in the development of other emerging resource plays in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. Antler Creek Energy Corp. is optimistic that the current market environment provides an excellent opportunity to position the Company as a strong player in large resource-in-place assets.

At a meeting of the shareholders on July 21, 2010, Antler Creek Energy Corp. received approval from its shareholders for a name change to "Pinecrest Energy Inc." Antler Creek Energy Corp. was the resulting entity formed on May 31, 2009 upon the amalgamation of Antler Creek Energy Corp. ("ACEC") (after it had changed its name from Testudo Oil & Gas Exploration Ltd. on May 22, 2009) and Batoche Energy Corp ("BEC").
